Can You Stop Negative Thoughts?

When you have a quick negative, or even not so positive thought,  do you try to stop it? This is what we are taught, right? Stay away from those negative thoughts! You will manifest them! So we start to have the thought and freeze. ‘I don’t want to have that thought. I’m moving away from it.’ Then we are stuck there. Stuck in the energy of the place where we froze. 

There is no good or bad, just experience. We came here to experience. The so called bad creates contrast for us to really understand what we do what. 

I think we really need to experience, and run through the so called bad thoughts, to get to the other side of them. Have the thoughts, notice the thoughts. Have the feelings, notice the feelings. Then take it to the next thought/feeling. What does it feel like to have that thought? What does it tell you about what you do want? 

Can you notice yourself having the thought? Can you move all the way though the thought /feeling instead of getting stuck in it?  Can you notice you don’t like the feeling or thought?

 

The thought….

What if I never find a partner? What if I don’t have enough money to bay the bills? What if I never find a job? What if never feel better? What if I’m sick?

 

Notice the feeling. Say to yourself things like….

It’s lonely to be alone. It’s scary to think I won’t be able to pay the bills. It feels like crap to be broke. It’s scary/uncomfortable to be sick. 

 

If that is true, than the opposite must feel good. 

I love to be in love. I love to feel love. I love abundance. I love to feeling good. 

The manifestation can happen from the imagination combined with feeling. The subconscious mind does not know the difference between imagination and reality. Invest your energy in the ‘I love’ part, by sending it to the root chakra (base of the spine) where it will become tangible, anchored in this reality. 

Notice anywhere you already have it. I love my child. I remember being in love. It felt….. I remember having enough money. I have…… I remember feeling good. This feels good now. 

What is thoughts were things. Imagine yourself shopping at a flea market. You come upon a thought, and you want to decide if you want to buy (invest) in it, or not. When at the flea market, you look at it, examine it, maybe pick it up and feel it. What if you did the same thing. Don’t dismiss it before you look at it. Pick it up and feel it. Then decide if you want to invest in it, or use it to show you what you do want to invest in.

Zucchini Corn Pancakes

 

 

 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups grated zucchini
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh corn, kernels cut from cob
  • 1 cup finely shredded Cheddar cheese
  • oil for frying
 

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, cumin, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and butter. Whisk wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir in zucchini, corn, and cheese; mix well.
  3. Warm oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Drop batter by the tablespoonful into hot oil. Fry until crisp and brown, turning once with tongs. Remove to paper towels.

My Friend Dave Caputo of Positronic design told me to get higher on the google ranking, I need to blog about my business. So here goes.

The Place is a brand new studio in Chicopee Ma. I’m Diane Tellier. I’ve been a massage therapist for 10 years. I LOVE doing massage. I live in Chicopee, about 5 minutes for the studio. I like an easy commute. I do all kinds of body work! From the lightest of touch, reiki can even be done off the body. CranialSacral Therapy is also very light touch. I trained with the Upledger Institute 14 years ago, up to SomatoEmotional Release second level. Swedish Style of massage would be next, long strokes, very relaxing. Deep tissue massage is a favorite, and I can give you the deepest most luxurious massage! I massage with my feet. Broad deep pressure, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy is great.

I taught Reiki both privately and and at H.C.C. for 14 years. Watch for classes coming up, or ask, I’ll put one together.

New for me… Yoga! I trained in hypnosis in 1998, and always loved doing group guided meditations. I loved doing yoga, so why not teach? Because I always felt Shavasana was too short, in my classes the Shavasana is at least 20 minutes.

Meditation (Tell good stories)

I love telling stories to create change! What we tell ourselves, think, and say out loud, are messages to the subconscious mind. It says, “Oh, That’s what you want. Ok!” Tell yourself you’re fat, and your subconscious mind says, “ok, let’s work on that.” (Bad story)

Instead Tell yourself how much you love your body! Your subconscious mind will go to work creating a body you love. (Good Story)

In my yoga classes we tell good stories, and anchor them into the subconscious, and into the nervous system during the 20 minute guided meditation.

Come create positive, permanent change, while having fun.

Fake it till you make it – or forward folding made a little easier.

Many people focus all there attention in forward folds on the backs of the thighs, the space that lacks freedom to allow you to smack your forehead to your shins like a lithe ballet dancer.  But the next time you are reviewing the distance between your noggin and your legs change it up by thinking about your breath and your belly.  As you exhale engage udyada bhanda lifting the area just under the diaphragm. It almost feels like you are trying to pull your organs into your ribcage a bit.  Can’t really feel it, fake it!  Then as you exhale watch how your fold is changing.  Bending your knees a little more than you normally would will take it out of the backs of the legs and let you feel the belly fold.
