I Say We Should Give The Land Back

standing

So I admit I don’t have all the facts, and wouldn’t trust them coming from the mainstream media anyway. So let’s instead say this is what I understand.

We the United State of America took land that did not belong to us. We then gave a tiny bit of land to those we stole it from, and said this what’s now yours.

Now we are saying we have the right to pollute their water, and their sacred ground.           If they go out to do ritual around the health of their water, food, and general safety, not only of their land, but also as part of the country we, ah ya…stole from them to begin with.

Is that what we’re saying? Really folks?

I say we give it back. The tribal elders would, in my opinion do a much better than we have.

As an American, I did not agree with this pipeline decision. I wonder If the world at large has an idea that mot Americans do not not agree with it.

Read a few of these.

Attention Reiki Masters.

hypnosis

I have an idea to combine;

Reiki attunements

the Law of Attraction

and Hypnotic Scripting

To create frequency tuning/attuneing.

I had been thinking if we could we create a frequency of what we desire, we could use a reiki attunement to lock it in. That was the belief in the creating  of Full Spectrum Reiki. We ‘wrote stories’, then attuned to the story we created.

Today I’m thinking, we don’t have to create the story first. We can call on it. When we first started doing the levels of reiki, or attuning others to the level of reiki, we did know them. They taught us when we asked. A simple invitation. To level one reiki. To level two reiki. Etc.

So what if we attune to the desired frequency.

For example:

To love, in all aspects.

To my fullest potential.

To my hearts content.

To the wisdom of the garden.

Pineal Gland Activation.

Essential oils.

Crystals.

Earth Healed.

Or more specific in details. You would need to write the script like writing hypnosis scripts, with desired outcome.

I’d love to hear what you think.

High Protein Granola Bars

These are like candy, but oh so good for you! I’ve been tweaking the recipes for a year, and this batch is by far the best! I’ll add more variations as I make them.

First, about the ingredients. These are not cheap to make, but trust me, it’s worth the cost! Some of the ingredients are not easy to find, but I found them all in one place                  Lucky Vitamin.

20160508_191042.jpg

You can also get the cocoa nibs from Lucky Vitamin.

This is for 2 batches. I usually make 2 batches at the same time with variations. These 2 are Almond Joy, and Turtle, although I put coconut in both.

Bottom Layer

2 Cups Chopped Nuts

2 Cups Oatmeal

7oz. Cocoa Butter

6 Tbs. Coconut Butter

6 Tbs. Ground Cocoa Nibs (you could also use cocoa powder)

2 tsp. Vanilla

20160508_192809.jpg

You don’t need a fancy double boiler! Just use glass, not plastic.

Melt Cocoa Butter, Coconut Butter, in double boiler. Since I was making 2 kinds, I used 2 measuring cups, one for each.

Add cocoa, and vanilla.

Chop the nuts, and put them in parchment lined pans.

20160508_192751.jpg

Add oatmeal right on top of the nuts, don’t mix.

20160508_193215.jpg

Pour melted mix over as evenly as possible.

20160508_194008.jpg

Put that in the freezer while you work on the top half.

Top Layer

3/4 cup brown rice syrup

1 cup nut butter (I used 1/2 cup each of peanut, and almond)

1 cup coconut ( or and dried fruit)

2 Tbs. ground flax seeds

4 cups puffed rice (like rice crispies)

Sweet drop flavor to taste. I used 1/2 tsp or less in each, I think they were perfect, my son said not sweet enough. I used caramel with pecans and peanut butter, and coconut with almonds, and almond butter.

Melt nut butter, and brown rice syrup in double boiler. after you take it off the heat, add sweet drops.

Put all the rest of the ingredients in bowls, 1 for each batch.

20160508_195315.jpg

Pour melted brown rice mixture over dry ingredients.

20160508_200545.jpg

Mix well.

20160508_200649.jpg

Pour over frozen first layer. Place wax paper, of parchment paper over top, and press evenly.

20160508_200727.jpg

Freeze again. It doesn’t take long, 20-30 minutes.

They pop of pan easy.

20160509_104119.jpg

Leave out for 10 minutes to soften the bottom a bit.

I find easiest to score the bottom, and cut from the top.

20160513_092936.jpg

Put in zip lock bags, and keep in the freezer. I love them frozen!

20160512_105701.jpg

Are you throwing these away?

If you are buying organic Romaine lettuce, celery, or scallions, you have plants!

20160410_105433.jpg

I just put them in water on the counter until I’m ready to get them in the greenhouse.

20160410_110110.jpg

I read these will grow with just water, but I add half dirt, then fill with water.

They will go to the garden at some point, but for now, they are happy here in the greenhouse.

I use canning jars, since I won’t be looking for them until the fall anyway.

Sprouted Raisin Bread Pudding Recipe

Ingredients :

2 pieces sprouted raisin bread (great way to use the crusts)

4 eggs

1 cup milk

1 tsp. vanilla

coconut crystals, or maple syrup (I used 2 tsp. coconut crystals, but I don’t like to sweet, you might want more)

sprinkle of Cinnamon, and or nutmeg

2-3 servings

Start with your eggs right in your casserole dish, beat then add all ingredients except cinnamon and nutmeg. The bread can be either cubed or ripped. I toasted mine because it came right out of the freezer.

20160406_184321.jpg

20160406_184615.jpg

Stir, and add cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Place casserole into a lager pan, filled with water. This will keep the temp consistent throughout.

20160406_184909.jpg

I put whipped cream, and chia seeds on top.

Dessert, breakfast, or brunch. Hot or cold.

I’m diabetic, so I’m always trying to mix a good amount of protein, to slow the carb intake down, and decrease sugar spikes. Cinnamon is also good for blood glucose control.

Banana Oatmeal ‘Pancakes’

I’ve been talking about this with my massage clients, so I figured I’d post it.

I originally made these at a camping event. We were in charge of breakfast for about 40, and had a huge pot of leftover oatmeal. I was skimming the crusty bits off the top, and my friend Nancy said, “Why don’t we fry that, like polenta?”.

We had bananas, and cinnamon! It was so good, I keep making it.

Fry bananas in coconut oil.

20160324_115838.jpg

Add oatmeal. (This is great with leftovers)

20160324_120449.jpg

Sprinkle with cinnamon.

20160324_120910.jpg

The banana, and cinnamon are the sweetener you need.

Recipe ~ Raspberry, Chocolate, Cheesecake Granola Bars

wp-1457538426097.jpg

I’ll make these again, and update with more pics, and measurements. For now, I can give you estimates.

The bottom layer, or crust, is crushed pecan (about 1/2 cup) with edible chocolate body butter. I melted the body butter, and added the pecans in a parchment lined 6 X 9 pan.

edible

Next layer, the cheesecake, 8oz cream cheese, 1 egg, tsp. vanilla, and Tbs. Coconut crystals. Spoon on crust, and spread gently.

Next layer, Raspberry jam. (From my garden, canned last season.) Any jam would work, but mine is sweetened with just a little honey, not sugar.

Top layer, about a 1/2 cup almond butter, about 1/3 cup coconut oil/palm oil melted, about 1 cup oatmeal, about 2 Tbs. coconut crystals, about 3 Tbs. coconut flour, about 1/2 cup raspberry jam. Mix until smooth, and spoon unevenly over top.

Bake 350 for 30 minutes.

I freeze my granola bars. This recipe is good to eat, hot, frozen, and room temp!

Making Body Butter

I started doing Ashiatsu (Barefoot Massage) 10 years ago. Because I’m standing on the client, adding more oil or lotion once I’m up there is difficult.

Ashiatsu1

Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy

Body Butter does not absorb into the skin as quickly as oil, or lotion.

I started making it right away, but what I’m whipping up now is much nicer, and healthier too!

Start with good product!

Organic Shea Butter, and Organic Coconut oil go into all of my whipped body butter recipes. 50% Shea Butter, 25% Coconut Oil, and the rest varies. Either olive oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, magnesium oil, or a combination, and essential oils.

Your skin is the largest organ of your body and since it is porous, it absorbs whatever you put on it. I only use what I’d want to put into my system. By using plant extract, and essential oil, I create different recipes for desired results.

Infusing Plants into oils

I  add essential oils for the scent, and also the plant medicine.

I’ve made enough to know what it should look, and feel like, and how to correct it.

The consistency needs to be right at room temp. Cooling in the refrigerator speeds up the process, but it needs to maintain the consistency when it cools back down.

It should look and feel like a whipped light frosting.

To oily needs more butter – Shea, Mango, or Cocoa Butter.

To stiff needs more oil – Jojoba is great for this, but Olive or other oil will also work.

Add essential oil after you have cooled, and started whipping. Adding essential before cooling will begin diffusing it into your kitchen.

What to with Kambucha that tastes like Vinegar.

wpid-20150928_095658.jpg

Use it recipes in that call for vinegar.

My Kambucha got away from me!

wpid-fb_img_1444852174368.jpg

Add Green tomatoes…

wpid-20151022_132146.jpg

I used this Green Tomato Pickle Recipe.

And substituted Kambucha for Vinegar. I did not cook the tomatoes, I like them crunchy.
